Part 775591A finishes a central vacuum inlet built to Hayden's side-opening design, in an almond shade, the ring of trim around the inlet body that presses the whole assembly evenly against the drywall. It is specified for the Hayden 0651.
Two situations bring people back for this trim piece. One is straightforward damage: a corner snapped off by a bumped canister or a chair leg, or screw bosses that have stripped out until the ring no longer draws up snug. The other is decorative, showing up any time a wall gets repainted or new baseboard goes in and a plate that used to disappear suddenly reads as the wrong shade against everything around it.
A loose trim ring is not purely cosmetic. Once it stops holding the inlet body firmly, pushing a hose cuff in for a cleaning session can rock the inlet slightly, and that repeated movement is enough to work its internal seal loose over months of ordinary use. Catching a ring while it is only slightly loose, rather than after it has cracked outright, is the cheaper repair by a wide margin.
Side-opening inlets take a side-opening trim shape, so confirm your inlet's door style along with the almond finish before ordering, since a top-opening ring will not seat on this style of body regardless of color.
