These replacement field coils (Part #316103-02) are made for #330 series motors in all 120-volt 7.2-inch units. The coils provide the electromagnetic field that drives the motor's armature as current runs through them.

A burned or shorted field coil robs the motor of power or stops it turning altogether, since the armature has no field to push against. Fitting sound coils restores full motor power after an electrical failure without scrapping the entire motor.
