Product details
1620624 is the replacement filter for Bissell's 3-in-1 Turbo Stick Vac, matching both the 2610 and 2611 models built on that same platform. It sits in the gap ahead of the motor, downstream of the dirt cup, working as the final barrier fine dust has to cross before reaching the fan.
A stick vacuum of this size has very little room for filter media, so clogging happens sooner than it would on a canister or upright doing the same work. What follows is a slow fade rather than a sudden drop: pickup weakens gradually across a couple of weeks of normal use, the motor pitch rises as it fights the growing restriction, and the exhaust picks up a dusty note that was not there when the filter went in. Knocking the filter against a bin helps briefly, but dust packed deep into the media will not shake free that way.
Plan on a change somewhere in the range of three to six months, sooner on a machine that runs often, rather than running it until pickup fails outright, and keep a spare on the shelf so nothing has to keep working past its useful life while a new one is on order.
Take the filter fully out of the dirt cup rather than tapping it in place when checking it, since dust settles into the pleats or mesh in ways that are hard to see until it is out in the light. A filter still grey after a rinse and a full day of air drying has reached the end of the line rather than needing a second wash.
