Replacement power nozzle motor, part D223-1914, for the tandem air power nozzles used on Riccar and Simplicity canister vacuums. It is the flat belt version, fitted to the RTAPN.D and STAPN.D nozzles that pair with the Wonder and Prima canisters.
In a tandem air nozzle this motor does one job: drive the brushroll while the canister supplies the suction. When it fails the head still passes air, so the machine feels like it is working while the brush sits still and nothing is agitated out of the carpet pile.

Check which belt your nozzle takes before ordering. Nozzles built for a grooved poly-V belt use the separate D223-2500 motor, and the two pulleys are not interchangeable.
