Two geared belts for the Fuller Brush Home Maid canister's power nozzle, part FBHMP-B2, for the FB-HMP.

A geared belt is not a stretchy rubber loop. Its teeth mesh with the drive gear, so the brush roll turns at the speed the nozzle was designed around instead of slipping under load, and that is why the right belt matters here. When the teeth strip or the belt cracks, the brush roll slows or stops while the nozzle motor keeps running, and you get a vacuum that sounds completely normal and leaves the carpet looking untouched.

With the belt off, spin the brush roll by hand and listen to the bearings, since a belt that has been shredding is often a symptom of something binding. Two belts in the pack means the next change is already in the drawer.
