Gear pump assembly for Hoover Series C and NE extraction machines, part 440003898, supplied without leads so the wiring from your existing pump carries over to the new one.

The gear pump pressurizes cleaning solution and pushes it out to the spray tips. When it wears, output drops even with the tank full and the trigger held down, or the pump runs but delivers solution unevenly, spraying strong in bursts rather than a steady stream. A pump that has lost prime entirely will sometimes turn without moving fluid at all.

Since this version ships without leads, transfer the wiring from the old pump to the new one rather than expecting a plug-and-play swap, and confirm the fittings match before disconnecting the old unit.

Confirm which series your machine belongs to before ordering. Hoover has built more than one pump platform under its extraction line over the years, and a pump built for a different series can look similar while using different fittings or turning in a different direction, which shows up as a poor seal or no output at all once it is wired in.
