Bissell part 1634216 is the geared belt that drives the brush from the pump side of the Revolution HydroSteam carpet cleaner. It is listed for the HydroSteam 3428, 3432 and 3513 and the HydroSteam Pet Exclusive 34249 and 3438, and carries the belt specification MS 3M-237-7.5 YZ.
Toothed belts hold their timing right up until they do not. The teeth wear round or shear under a jammed roller and the belt starts skipping, so the brush turns intermittently and then stops while the motor sounds entirely normal. Cleaning falls off a cliff at that point, because on a carpet cleaner the brush is what does the scrubbing.
With the belt off, run a finger over the pulley teeth. Wear there is what strips the next belt, and it is a five-second check.
