The Electrolux dust brush and upholstery tool combination, part 26-1622-29, in gray. One body covers both jobs: a soft brush face for shelves, blinds, lampshades and skirting, and an upholstery face for cushions, mattresses and car seats.

A combination tool spends more time in the caddy and more time being dropped than any other attachment. The bristles thin and splay until the brush skates over dust rather than sweeping it up, the hinge stiffens or cracks, and the wings stop staying where they are put. Any of those and the tool is doing half the job it was built for.
