Handle grip assembly for the Hoover 3600 polisher, part number 48663022.

The grip is the only point of contact between the operator and a machine that would rather walk sideways. Steering a polisher is done by tilting the handle a fraction one way or the other, so a grip that has gone slick, split or loose on the tube costs you fine control rather than just comfort. Hands slipping on worn rubber is how a polisher gets away from someone.
