Indigo trim runs all the way down to the thumb button, and 7082DB is that button in the matching dark blue. SEBO draws it at item 25 on the FELIX exploded diagram, listed there as the dark blue handle release button for the FELIX Premium.
Pressing it disengages the catch that holds the handle upright, which is what lets the machine recline far enough to run under a bed or a low sofa. Being a small moulding under steady thumb load, it gives up in two recognisable ways. Either the face rounds away until there is nothing to push against, or the material cracks at the point where it bears on the latch. The outcome reads the same from the outside: full travel with none of the effect, so the handle locks vertical when you want it flat, or falls back unasked because nothing is holding the catch anywhere definite. Replacing the button restores the full stroke and the clean click that goes with it.
Because SEBO builds each FELIX colourway as a matched set, the dark blue group on the same diagram sheet is worth knowing when more than one piece of trim has aged: the cable hook at item 15, part 7027DB, the lower housing at item 19, part 70166SE, the complete handle at item 21, part 7164DB, and the switch assembly at item 23, part 7038DB.
