On a Rosso-trim FELIX Premium the handle-unlock button is moulded in red, and 7082DR supplies it in the original factory shade rather than something close enough to pass at arm's length. SEBO shows it at item 25 of the FELIX exploded diagram, listed there as the dark red handle release button.
Function comes ahead of appearance. This is the control that frees the handle latch so an upright can recline, and its whole working range is a few millimetres. That short travel is why wear matters so quickly here. Once the contact face has rounded away or the moulding has cracked, the latch no longer clears its keeper, and the machine either declines to lie back or cannot be stood up and locked for storage. Neither fault carries any risk, and both are annoying enough to make a mechanically healthy vacuum feel worn out. A new button seats into the same location and the action comes back immediately.
SEBO keeps each FELIX colourway consistent across the whole machine, so the red group on the same drawing is the reference if other trim has aged alongside it: the cable hook at item 15, part 7027DR, the bag housing cover at item 16, part 7093DR, the filter cover at item 17, part 7091DR, and the switch assembly at item 23, part 7038DR. The red and gray patterned exhaust microfilter for these machines is 7095AM12.
