SEBO 660 mm Handle Tube for...

Product details
660 mm is the number that matters on this one. Part 7080ER is the fixed-length handle tube fitted to SEBO DART uprights built with the non-adjusting handle, and it replaces that tube outright rather than repairing it.
This tube is the backbone of the whole machine. It absorbs every push and pull, the leverage of a vacuum being dragged across a room by its grip, and the shock of a fall onto a hard floor. Damage is rarely obvious to look at. What you notice instead is a springy feel in use, a handle sitting a degree or two out of square, and fittings clamped along the tube that no longer line up, which pushes the load onto the joints at either end. Straightening it back seldom holds, because the tube has already yielded once in that spot.
Length is the other reason to order the right part rather than a near-enough one. Nothing here telescopes, so the 660 mm dimension fixes how tall the vacuum stands in use and how long the wiring run inside it needs to be. On SEBO's DART diagram the parts that live at either end are the tube plug at item 27, part 7076GS, the complete handle at item 28, part 7164WE, the sliding button at item 30, part 7035GS, and the switch frame at item 31, part 7178WE. The cable that runs up inside a non-adjusting DART handle is part 7070.
- Fitment: SEBO DART, non-adjusting handle build only
- Length: 660 mm exactly
- Type: non-telescoping, fixed handle tube
- Part number: 7080ER
- Replace when: the tube is bent, dented at a clamp point, or the handle no longer sits square to the body
- Related part numbers: 7070 internal cable, 7076GS tube plug, 7164WE complete handle, 7178WE switch frame
Measure the old tube first if the handle style on your machine is not obvious, because adjustable-handle FELIX uprights are built around a different tube altogether. Genuine SEBO DART handle tube replacement from an authorized SEBO dealer, dispatched in 2-5 business days.
