The slip-over pipe cutter (SKU 528H) is a Hayden-made cutter for PVC central vacuum pipe, sold through MD Central Vacuum. Operation is simple: slip the cutter body over the pipe, then spin it around the tube to score and cut. Marking your cutting spot first makes lining up the cut even easier.
This design shines in tight spots and mid-run cuts where a scissor-style cutter cannot reach, since the tool rotates around the pipe rather than squeezing across it.
