Shark's Navigator Professional upright uses the F665 HEPA filter, functionally equivalent to Shark's own XHF80, built for the NV70 and NV80 and carrying over to the UV420, NV60, NV90 and NV105 as well.
A HEPA element that has loaded up costs performance twice over: suction weakens simply because air struggles to pass through the clogged media, and whatever fine dust the element can no longer trap gets carried back out into the room instead. Households sensitive to allergies tend to notice that second effect well ahead of the first, since airborne dust after a cleaning session shows up before pickup feels obviously weaker.
Shark puts the Navigator name on a number of different machines, so the safest way to order is by the model number printed on the rating label rather than by the name on the front of the vacuum.
