TurboCat is built by H-P Products and spins its brush roll on suction pulled through the hose rather than a built-in motor, so nothing at the nozzle needs a cord or a charge. It connects to standard 1-1/4 inch central vacuum wands.

That airflow spin is what works dirt and pet hair loose from carpet and rug fibers instead of skating across the top. Wear shows up the same way it does on any turbo nozzle: bristles flatten, hair wraps around the roller, the drive belt stretches, and the bearings the roll spins on can start to drag, all of which cut down how much agitation actually reaches the carpet even when suction at the hose feels normal. That mismatch between normal suction and a weaker pass is the clearest sign the nozzle, not the hose or motor, needs attention.
