HiZero's comb filter assembly, part M5100001102, is the filtration stage on the F801 and F803 Bionic Mops. It catches debris out of the airflow so it does not travel further into the machine.
This is a consumable, and it loads up with the fine grit and hair that a mop-vacuum pulls off hard floors. As it clogs, airflow falls away: pickup gets weaker, the machine sounds like it is working harder, and larger debris starts getting pushed along rather than drawn in. Once the comb is packed solid, cleaning it only buys a little time.
Swapping it takes no tools. The assembly lifts out and the new one drops in, and it is worth keeping the old one to hand until the new part is seated so you can compare the orientation. It is the F801 and F803 assembly, so check your model badge before ordering.
