Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is the geared drive belt for Hoover PowerDrive Pet swivel uprights, part 440012455, also stamped 3M-225-6.4. It fits the UH74200, UH74205, UH74210, UH74210PC and UH74215.
A geared belt does not stretch its way to failure the way a flat rubber belt does. It holds full brushroll speed until the teeth wear or shear, and then it simply goes. The motor still runs, the brushroll stops, and carpet pickup collapses while hard floors seem more or less fine. That combination is the giveaway.
Turn the brushroll by hand with the machine unplugged. If it spins freely with no resistance at all, the belt is done. Clear the hair off the roller ends before fitting the new one, since a bound roller is what killed the last belt more often than not.
