This genuine Hoover belt package (part 40201050) contains two 12471AG flat belts for Dial-A-Matic upright vacuums. Each belt drives the brush roll so it spins at full speed for effective carpet cleaning.

Over time belts stretch and lose tension, which slows the brush roll and dulls carpet cleaning even when the belt still looks intact. A worn or broken belt is one of the most common causes of poor performance, and a fresh 12471AG belt restores full brush roll speed.
