Part 440002575 is the handle assembly for the Hoover FH50222, supplied in the No Surge Garnet Red finish rather than a generic black substitute.
A handle absorbs every push, pull and lift the machine ever gets, and it is also what hits the floor when an upright is tipped over or knocked off a stair. Once it has cracked or developed noticeable play, steering around furniture legs and doorways takes more effort than it should, and a crack under repeated load tends to widen rather than hold where it is. Replacing the assembly puts the machine back to a solid, rattle-free handle instead of working around a failing one.
