This OEM height adjustment lever restores precise nozzle positioning to the Hoover U8130 V-2 Series, and the U8131900. Moving the lever raises or lowers the nozzle so the machine rides at the right depth for carpet or hard floors instead of skimming the surface or bogging down.

A cracked or worn lever loses its hold on the height adjuster, so the setting drifts or will not hold and cleaning suffers across floor types. The factory lever returns firm, repeatable height control that improves suction on hard surfaces and protects carpet fibers.
