Hoover part 440001693 is the wheel assembly from the WindTunnel T Series uprights, also catalogued as 303214001. It carries the back of the machine and sets the height at which the nozzle meets the floor.
The failure will be familiar to anyone who has owned one. Hair and thread wrap the axle until the wheel stops turning and starts skidding, the tread wears flat on one side, or the mount cracks and the machine sits down on one corner. After that the vacuum is heavy to push, tracks off to one side, and no longer holds an even height across the nozzle.
It fits the Hoover UH70120 and UH30600, the UH30300, UH30302, UH30308 and UH30310, the UH70600 through UH70608 and the UH70700, the CH53010 and CP50000 commercial machines, and the Royal UR30090.
