Part 440001377 is a wiring harness kit built for the Hoover FH50240 Surge Series A and B. It is the replacement set of internal wiring that carries power and control signals through the machine.

A cracked wire jacket, a corroded connector, or a pin that has backed out of its housing can cause the machine to cut out, refuse to power on, or run one function while ignoring another. Damaged wiring produces exactly the same symptoms as a failed component, so it is worth inspecting the harness carefully before condemning anything more expensive.
