FB00081 is the hose assembly for the Fuller Brush FB500.2 canister, and the same hose is used on the Riccar RSQ1 and RSQ1.2 SupraQuick and the S100 and S100.2 portable canisters.

The hose takes more abuse than anything else on a canister vacuum. It gets bent double, stepped on and pulled taut against the machine, and it is the one component that can leak along its entire length. A split or a collapsed section means air is being drawn in halfway down instead of at the nozzle, and no amount of motor makes up for that.

The test is simple: if suction is strong at the machine's inlet but weak at the wand, the hose is the problem. Run your hand along the full length, flexing as you go, and look for cracks in the ribbing.
