The CleanSlate is Hoover's portable spot cleaner, and its hose assembly, part 440015573, carries both the solution line and the suction path out to the hand tool. The assembly includes the protective cover that sleeves the hose against abrasion.
Because the hose is dragged across furniture legs, stair nosings and car sills, it is abrasion and the flex at the machine end that finish it. A split on the suction side kills the tool's pickup. A leak on the solution side sprays where you did not aim, or fails to spray at all while the pump runs happily.
The assembly fits the CleanSlate FH14000, FH14000V, FH14010, FH14010V, FH14020, FH14050 and FH14050V, and the BH14000V, BH14010V and BH14020V.
