Wessel Werk Hose Cord - Ele...

Product details

Part 12.6P38-F57P-24 replaces the cord running inside a Wessel Werk electric hose, specified for the Wessel Werk 5710, carrying power out to the floor nozzle alongside the airway.

This cord typically gives out well ahead of the hose it lives in. Every coil and uncoil of the hose twists the wire with it, concentrating the sharpest flex exactly where the cord passes into the handle. A nozzle that flickers, drops out mid-pass, or only powers up when the hose sits in one particular position is telling you the fault is in this cord or its terminal contacts rather than the motor itself. Wiggling the hose gently near the handle while the powerhead runs will often reproduce the fault on command, confirming where the problem lives before you order anything.

A quick visual pass along the exposed portion of the cord can sometimes catch a nicked spot before it fails outright, worth doing the first time a nozzle starts acting unpredictably rather than waiting for a full failure.

Swapping in a fresh cord brings back steady power at a fraction of what a whole new hose would cost. Disconnect the machine from power first, and pick a replacement whose connector and overall length match the piece coming out.
