SEBO Hose Duct for FELIX Pr...

Product details
Behind the hose stub of a Rosso-trim FELIX Premium sits a short moulded passage most owners never see and every technician checks first when the wand pulls weakly. Part 7090DR supplies that passage in red.
Treat it as a loaded joint rather than something that wears out on a schedule. Every time the hose is dragged across the body at an angle, or the vacuum is towed by its handle with the hose still clipped in place, the duct takes a twisting load. Plastic that has absorbed years of that eventually crazes around the collar or opens along a moulding line. From then on the motor pulls unmetered air in through the fault instead of drawing dirt out of the carpet, and the result is a floor head still performing normally while the tools have quietly given up. Good on carpet, poor at the wand, is the classic signature of a leak ahead of the bag.
Drawn at: item 14 of SEBO's FELIX exploded diagram is the hose duct, shown there in black and in arctic white. 7090DR is that component in the red SEBO specifies for Rosso bodies such as the 9809AM machine. The hose it mates with is 7050SB, and the retaining ring with spring clamping the cuff onto it is 7018OR, drawn at item 27 of the same sheet. Staying inside the red trim group, the filter cover is 7091DR at item 17 and the bag housing cover is 7093DR at item 16.
