Part C355-0914 is the bleed valve slide and gasket set for the hose handle on Riccar and Simplicity PV and MV platform uprights. The bleed valve is the vent built into the handle that lets an operator dump suction on purpose, keeping a hanging curtain, a loose tassel or a stray plastic bag from getting drawn into the tool mid-pass. Vacuums and More is an authorized Riccar dealer.

Because the slide and gasket are packaged as one kit, a valve stuck open, leaking at rest, or rattling when the handle moves gets fixed in a single order rather than two. A working slide should move the full length of its travel under light thumb pressure and seal again once it is closed; if it binds partway or leaks with the vent shut, the gasket behind it has usually hardened or torn.
