Part 65-3 is the hose insert for the electric hose on the Sirena water-filtration canister, listed under Sirena reference 109. It is the fitting at the machine end of the hose, forming both the air seal and the electrical connection into the canister.
Inserts wear where they are worked. The collar loosens or cracks after years of twisting the hose in and out, and once it no longer seats tightly you get a whistle at the joint, suction that comes and goes as the hose is moved, or a power nozzle that flickers because the contacts are no longer meeting squarely.
Unplug the machine before working on an electric hose. Check the new insert seats fully and the nozzle powers up steadily before the vacuum goes back into regular use.
