A canister that shuts down mid-clean and restarts ten minutes later is not failing at random - it is being switched off deliberately by the thermal cut-out built into its wiring. 8091AM covers the internal cable set on the AIRBELT D1 Turbo and the D4 Premium, supplied with that cut-out fitted, and drawn as item 8 on the AIRBELT D sheet.
The loom runs between the cord rewind unit at item 10 and the motor at item 9, held on its route by internal cable clamp 5266, and it lives in the hottest part of the machine. Insulation goes brittle where it passes close to the motor, terminals loosen with every heating and cooling cycle, and a worn cut-out either trips when nothing is wrong or fails to act when something is. A new set brings back both a sound electrical path and functioning over-temperature protection, which is precisely why SEBO packs it in the box with the 8048ER motor instead of selling that motor on its own.
