    Genuine replacement latch assembly for the Johnny Vac JV80 and JV125 vacuums. The latch is the spring clamp that locks the motor head down onto the tank, holding the two halves together under suction so the canister stays sealed during operation.

    Latches are among the most heavily cycled parts on a commercial vacuum, opening and closing every time the tank is emptied. When the spring weakens or the clip breaks, the head no longer clamps tight and the machine loses suction or pops open under load. This OEM latch assembly restores firm, secure clamping pressure and a reliable seal between head and tank.
