This genuine OEM lower hose assembly measures 11.5 inches and serves the Kenmore DU3018 upright. The internal hose carries dirt from the floor nozzle up to the dust collection compartment, forming a key link in the machine's airflow path.
A lower hose that has cracked, kinked, or pulled loose at a fitting leaks air or blocks the debris path, and either fault shows up as weak suction and poor pickup at the nozzle. A sound hose reseals that path so full airflow reaches the collection chamber.
