Kirby part 190014 is the outer cloth bag for the Avalir. Read the scope carefully before you order: this is the bag on its own, without the mini em-tor and without the fill tube. If your em-tor is cracked or the tube has hardened, the complete assembly is part 187914 instead.
The cloth bag is the second stage of filtration behind the paper bag, and it is also the part that shows its age first. Seams open, the zipper wears, and the fabric goes grey and stiff as fine dust embeds itself in the weave. A clogged weave is the one that fools people, because the bag looks intact while airflow through it has fallen away.
Replacing just the bag is the cheaper route when the em-tor and tube are still sound, which on a newer Avalir they usually are.
