Kirby's snap fill tube, part 190316, is the hose that carries debris from the fan outlet up into the bag on Sentria and Avalir Platinum uprights. It fits the Sentria, the Sentria II, the Avalir 2 and the Avalir Platinum, and it is the larger inner diameter version, so make sure that is the one your machine takes before ordering.
Fill tubes fail from flexing and from age. The material hardens, a split opens along a bend, or the tube collapses partway so it no longer passes full airflow. Symptoms are a machine that has lost suction with no obvious cause, and debris that never quite makes it into the bag, so the bag stays half empty while the floor stays dirty.
Route the new tube without kinks and make sure both ends are fully seated; a tube pushed only halfway home leaks exactly like a split one.
