Complete stretch-style hose for the Kirby Generation 6, part 225406S. A stretch hose sits short and coiled at rest and pulls out when you need the reach, so there is less loose hose trailing behind you on a staircase.
A stretch hose has a harder life than a fixed one, since every use flexes the entire length rather than just the ends, and they eventually split under the outer sleeve. The symptom is the same as any leaking Kirby hose: attachments that have gone weak while the machine at the floor is as strong as it ever was.
It comes complete with both fittings. Besides the Generation 6 it is listed for the Sentria and Sentria II, and the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum.
