A hub cap is a small thing to lose and an easy one to replace. Part 555912 is the rear wheel hub cap for the Kirby Sentria II, the trim cover that snaps over the centre of the rear wheel and closes off the axle.
They part company with the machine more often than they break. A knock against a stair nosing or a door frame pops one off, and it is gone before you notice. Looks aside, the cap keeps carpet fibre and thread out of the wheel centre, so a machine running without one tends to collect a nest of hair around the axle.
This cap is for the Sentria II and is also catalogued as K-555912. Press it squarely onto the wheel until it clicks home.
