This genuine OEM bottom plate screw secures the underside plate on the Kirby AVALIR 2 and the Titan TCS973 (T7). The screw threads into the housing to clamp the bottom plate tight so it stays flat against the machine and holds the correct brush height.
A stripped, missing, or corroded screw lets the bottom plate loosen or lift at a corner, which breaks the airflow seal and lets the plate rattle or shift the brush contact. A correct screw re-anchors the plate so it seats flush and stays put.
- Fits: Kirby AVALIR 2; Titan TCS973 (T7)
- Function: fastens the bottom plate to the housing
- Benefit: holds the plate flat for a proper seal and brush height
- Tip: replace all bottom-plate screws together for even clamping
