The neutral drive pedal on a Kirby G3-series machine is fastened with a screw and washer, and part 234097S supplies ten of them. It is listed for the Sentria II and the AVALIR 2.
This is the pedal you step on to take the drive out of gear, so it absorbs a direct hit from a shoe every time it is used. The washer is there to spread that load. Without it the screw head works its way into the plastic, the pedal starts to feel spongy or sits at an angle, and a pedal with play in it is slow to release the drive, which makes the machine feel like it is fighting you at the end of a row.
Ten at once covers a full pedal rebuild with spares left for the next machine. Fit the washer under the head as the original was assembled.
