Crevice tool for the Kirby Sentria II, part 225712S. A crevice tool narrows the machine's whole airflow down to a slot, and that concentration is what gets debris out of places nothing else reaches: between seat cushions, along skirting boards, down the sides of a mattress, in the seat rails of a car.
They are replaced for two reasons. The tip gets chipped or cracked from being jammed into hard corners, and a cracked tool bleeds air so it stops pulling where it counts. Or it is simply lost - the crevice tool is the attachment most likely to be left behind under a car seat.
It is listed for the Sentria II and the Diamond Edition. Check your machine's badge before ordering, as Kirby crevice tools differ at the collar even where the slot looks identical.
