Part 210014 is the suction and blower connector for the Kirby Avalir, the fitting that couples the hose to the machine's port, whether you are drawing air through it for cleaning or blowing through it for the inflator.
Because it does double duty it gets handled constantly, and the plastic eventually cracks around the collar or loses its grip on the hose. The result is a leak right at the source: attachments feel gutless no matter how clear the hose is, and the connector may work loose under load. On blower duty a cracked connector simply vents most of the air at your feet.
It fits the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum, as well as the GSix. Inspect the sealing face when you fit it and make sure it seats fully home before you twist it into place.
