Part 234397S covers the Torx screws for the guide/slide bracket and the wedge on Kirby G3 and SE machines, ten to a pack. It fits the AVALIR 2, AVALIR PLATINUM and Sentria II.
Bracket and wedge fasteners sit in a part of the machine that is under constant small movement, so they loosen long before they break. What you feel is a slide that binds partway through its travel, or one that has picked up a rattle and started wearing on one side because the wedge is no longer sitting square against it.
Ten screws is enough to redo every point on both the bracket and the wedge during a rebuild, which is better practice than torquing old fasteners back into holes that have already worked loose once. Match the Torx bit properly and the heads will survive being taken out again next time.
