Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The 116119 replaces the 116103 motor in central vacuum power units that used it, and Lamb Ametek builds it as a three-stage motor, sold here as part 204.

Published figures are 438 air watts, 94.3 CFM and 135 inches of sealed suction, from three fan stages drawing 12.3 amps at 110-120 volts in a 7.2 inch housing. Stage count on its own is not a performance ranking: the extra fan wheel buys sealed suction rather than airflow, and several two-stage Lamb motors of the same physical size move more CFM than this one does.

That makes the stamped number the thing to match. Confirm your old motor reads 116103 or 116119 before ordering, and check the voltage, since Lamb's published data identifies the 116136 as the 240 volt version of this same motor. Brands it was fitted to include Modern Day, Beam, Nutone, Kenmore and Panasonic.

Watch for a breaker that trips on start-up, an electrical smell, sparking at the top of the motor, or suction that cuts in and out. A motor that has lost some of its performance will still run, so a drop in overall suction with no other cause is also worth investigating.
