Returns & Exchanges

Lamb Ametek built the 116355 as a higher-CFM motor within its 220-240 volt lineup, and the published numbers bear that out: 121 CFM against roughly 99 to 110 CFM for the other 5.7 inch 220-240 volt Lamb motors sold for central vacuums. It is sold here as part 206B for power units originally fitted with the 116355.

Behind that figure sit two fan stages, a 5.2 amp draw, 377 air watts and 97 inches of sealed suction in a 5.7 inch housing. Flo-Master, Beam, DuoVac and Smart systems are among those it was fitted to, and no other Lamb number supersedes into it.

Confirm your power unit runs on 220-240 volts and that the number on your old motor matches before ordering, since higher-airflow and standard motors in the same physical size are not interchangeable by housing alone. Typical wear signs include a breaker that goes more often, an electrical smell, sparking near the top of the housing, or suction that quits and comes back by itself.
