Lamb Ametek's 116429 replaces the 115923 motor in central vacuum power units that originally used it. It is sold here as part 202Z.

On 110-120 volts it draws 9.4 amps and returns 349 air watts, 121 CFM and 97 inches of sealed suction, from two stages in a 5.7 inch housing. That voltage is worth a second look, because a good many of the neighbouring Lamb motors sold for central vacuums are 220-240 volt parts. Nutone, AstroVac, DuoVac, PowerKing, Pullman and Vacumaid units are listed as taking it.

Match the number on your old motor to either 115923 or 116429 before ordering, since Lamb built a wide range of similarly sized motors under other part numbers that are not interchangeable. Watch for a mini breaker that goes repeatedly, an electrical smell after a short run, sparking visible at the top of the motor housing, or suction that quits and returns by itself.
