Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

SKU 209P is the Lamb Ametek 116471 central vacuum motor — brand new, never rebuilt — a two-stage, 110-120 volt Ametek original found in a handful of central vacuum systems. The 116471 is closely related to the 119413 motor, with a trade-off: it spins faster, so it delivers higher CFM and waterlift but carries a limited warranty and a shorter working life. It is not listed as a replacement for any other motor number.

Typical lifespan is 900-1,200 hours. End-of-life symptoms include a popping mini breaker, an electrical smell, visible blue sparking at the motor top, or a motor that shuts off and later resumes. Fitting the new 116471 takes a few screw brackets and two wire connections. Its carbon brushes can be renewed separately — order two 116471 motor brushes to service the motor before it fails outright.
