Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Lamb Ametek 116472 central vacuum motor (SKU 209) — a strong performer for its 5.7" frame size and a fit for many central vacuum systems, including Vacuflo 260, 460, and 760 units and the Ametek 122159. This brand-new (not rebuilt) Lamb original covers the 116472-13 and 116472-00 as well, and replaces the 119260, 117795, 117073, and 116474 motors.

Two buying notes. First, the number 6472 appears on many motors as a part number, so verify your motor's measurements against the specs above. Second, the 119412 is a similar motor; the 116472 spins faster, which earns it higher CFM and waterlift figures but a shorter life and a limited warranty.

When the motor reaches the end of its 900-1,200 hour span you will typically see breaker popping, smell hot electronics, or notice sparking and intermittent shutdowns. Swapping it in takes three bolts and the wiring, and its carbon brushes are replaceable — two are needed.
