Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Fit your 240-volt unit with the Lamb Ametek 117944 central vacuum motor, SKU 199RX — the brand-new (not rebuilt) Ametek original used in S4 and S5 applications and other central vacuum brands and models running 220-240 volts.

The 117944 is rated for approximately 900-1,200 hours of runtime. Replacement is due when the mini breaker pops repeatedly, an electrical smell develops, heavy blue sparks appear at the motor top, or the motor cuts out and then recovers on its own. If the unit gives no click whatsoever, evaluate the relay first — the motor may still be healthy. Installation means releasing the screw-mounted brackets — three or four of them — and moving two wires over. Like most Lamb motors, the 117944 has replaceable carbon brushes; a pair of 117944 motor brushes keeps a mid-life motor going strong. Ships to you in 2-5 business days.
