Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Genuine Lamb Ametek 122685 central vacuum motor (SKU 199B2), sold brand new — never rebuilt. The 122685 is the current replacement for the discontinued 119914, 119956 (part 199A), and 119992 motors (all versions, e.g. 119992-01), and it fits Model S44 and A525h power units. Your existing motor may be stamped 2685 or 12-2685 — same motor.

  • Design: 2-stage fan, 5.7" bottom diameter
  • Size: 7-1/2" tall with a 3" bolt height
  • Electrical: 120V, 50-60 Hz, 15.2 amps
  • Performance: 130" waterlift, 128 CFM, 574 air watts

Replace when you notice: the mini breaker popping, an electrical smell, heavy blue sparking at the motor top, a click with no start-up, or random shutdowns — or when the motor's 900–1,200 hour service life is spent. (Click but no motor sound usually means the relay, not the motor.) Swapping it in takes three bolts and a few wire connections; step-by-step instructions are available. The 122685's carbon motor brushes are also replaceable separately (buy two) to head off wear before failure. No core trade-in required.
