The bottom plate is the surface that actually rides on your carpet — it sets the gap between the brush roll and the floor, guides airflow into the intake, and takes all the scraping against thresholds and rug edges. A cracked or gouged plate lets suction bleed away and can snag carpet fibers. This genuine 14-inch bottom plate for the Lindhaus Eco Force power nozzle bolts on in place of the damaged one and re-seals the cleaning path. Part #005870333.
