The Activa's transmission is what turns motor power into brush roll drive, and the built-in sensor lets the machine monitor that drive and react when something jams or slows. When gears strip or the sensor fails, you will typically see the brush roll cut out, error behavior from the machine, or a grinding noise under the hood. This complete genuine Lindhaus transmission comes with the sensor already fitted, so one installation replaces the whole drive unit rather than piecing it together part by part. Part #085920081.
