Part 009730301 is the standard black brush roller for the Lindhaus RX 380, a medium bristle grade sized to that machine's 380 roller housing.
Being the standard fit, this is the roller most RX 380 machines run day to day, and it is the one that wears first because it does the most work. Its bristles lift soil out of the pile so the airflow can take it away; over months of use the tips round off and stop gripping, and pickup declines without anything sounding different. Pet hair and fine grit are usually the first things a tired roller leaves behind, since both need a firm stroke to be lifted rather than brushed over.
A good habit on a machine in daily service is to look at the roller every time the bag comes out. Hair and fiber wound tight at the ends will strangle agitation well before the bristles themselves are finished, and clearing that is a five minute job rather than a purchase. When the bristles really are worn down, a fresh roller brings the agitation straight back. If pickup is still weak with a new one fitted, a clogged filter or a full bag is the more likely culprit.
Order against the RX 380 specifically. Lindhaus builds rollers in several lengths and bristle grades, and one intended for another machine will not sit correctly in this housing.
